Overview:

Lake Victoria offers the opportunity for hooking one of the world’s largest fresh water fish the Nile Perch, anyone with some free time can enjoy this day out. It starts in the morning and set off with the boat. Your big target of the day is to aim to catch a Nile Perch. The Nile Perch is a predator that feeds on fish and an adult fish can get to the length of 1.37 m (4 ft 6 in). During your day on the lake you will be taken to a prime fishing area and enjoy the peace of being out on the lake. Hopefully you make some good catch as well.

Lake Victoria is Africa’s largest lake by area and the largest tropical lake in the world with a surface area of 68,800 km2 (26,600 sq. mi), Lake Victoria is the world’s second-largest freshwater lake by surface area, after Lake Superior in North America. In terms of volume, Lake Victoria is the world’s ninth largest continental lake, containing about 2,750 cubic kilometers (2.23×109 acre•ft) of water. The Lake has a shoreline of 4,828 km (3,000 mi), with islands constituting 3.7% of this length, and is shared by three countries: Kenya (6% or 4,100 km2 or 1,600 sq. mi), Uganda (45%or 31,000 km2 or 12,000 sq. mi), and Tanzania (49% or 33,700 km2 or 13,000 sq mi). Day 1 – Full Day Fishing on Lake Victoria

08:00 am – Pick up from Hotel or place of residence and transfer to the Boat pier on Lake Victoria.

09:00 am – Meet with the fishing guide for briefing and fishing Equipment preparations and depart to a local Island fishing area

09:45 am – Arrive at the Local Island fishing area and enjoy a full day fishing on Lake Victoria; expect to catch a Nile perch or Tilapia fish.

12:30 pm – Enjoy Packed Lunch on the Boat including unlimited tea/coffee (Included).

01:00 pm – Afternoon continue enjoying fishing fun until you catch the biggest Nile Perch on Lake Victoria.

05:00 pm – Return to pier after fishing,

05:45 pm – Drop off at Hotel or Place of Residence
