Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Welcome to Uganda

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where you’ll be warmly welcomed by a Wagatil Safaris guide. You’ll be transferred to your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe for an overnight stay and a pre-safari briefing.

Day 2: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, set off for Murchison Falls National Park via Kampala. Enjoy scenic landscapes along the way. Upon entering the park, head straight to the Top of the Falls—a thrilling viewpoint where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge, creating one of the most powerful waterfalls on Earth.

Day 3: Full-Day Fishing on the Nile River

Day 6: Morning Game Drive & Transfer to Bwindi

Start the day with an early game drive on the northern bank of the park, spotting elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, and more. After the drive, begin your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, arriving in the evening for overnight stay.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking Experience & Departure

After an early breakfast, report to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. Then, set out into the rainforest with your ranger in search of one of Bwindi’s habituated gorilla families. Spend a magical hour with them in their natural habitat—a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. Later, transfer to Kisoro/Kihihi Airstrip or back to Entebbe for your outbound flight (depending on your travel plans).
